Museums can be tools for targeted activities to create a favorable image of the region. The subjects of this activity are primarily Israeli and foreign public organizations and local communities. The government is also actively involved in funding large research projects. Museum organizers are interested in the region being perceived as an integral part of \u201cEuropean civilization.\u201d This is facilitated by the rich biblical history and archaeological heritage, which is preserved and popularized. The work of museums and exhibitions dedicated to the history of the twentieth century contributes to strengthening the legitimacy of the Jewish state and the formation of national identity. The key themes of such museums are: the history of the settlement of Galilee by pioneers, the creation of the Israeli state and the Holocaust.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keywords. <\/strong>Israel, Galilee,
